  9.                        public release of FloppyFlux.

  14.              FloppyFlux is EMAILWARE and is fully functional.
  15.  
  16.     FloppyFlux is a disk backup utility that enables you to store your
  17.     old floppy disks on your harddrive, as disk images. Disk images can
  18.            be compressed, if you have the XPK system installed.

  24.                New things in FloppyFlux 1.2 (Sun.27.Jun.99)
  25.  
  26.   - The user can now drag icons from WB into the main window. This will
  27.     make it easier to import disk images.
  28.  
  29.   - The user can now hide the FF GUI. To do this WB must be open, because FF
  30.     creates an AppIcon on the Workbench. Currenlty FF uses it's own .info
  31.     file for the AppIcon image.
  32.  
  33.   - The main FF window now has a set of pull-down menus.
  34.  
  35.   - The user now has more control over compression. These new features can
  36.     be access via the Image menu. They are called Pack selected, Unpack -
  37.     selected, Pack All, Unpack All.

  39.   - Disk images can be imported from and exported to files.
  40.  
  41.   - The main list now indicates what disk images have been packed. It
  42.     also shows the compression method.
  43.  
  44.   - FF will automatically insert the disk's name in the Image Attr window
  45.     when reading a new disk. This does not work for non-DOS (NDOS) disks
  46.     (such a demos, etc).

  48.   - FF now uses a simple cache file system to speedup directory scanning.

  50.   - FF handles and reports XPK related errors better now.
  51.  
  52.   - Changed the way the XPK library is opened at startup. If it's available,
  53.     it'll always be opened, regardless of the current compression settings.
  54.     This makes life less confusing :)

  56.   - The width of the settings XPK listview and the image listview should
  57.     now stay fixed.
  58.  
  59.   - FF will not complain if an outgoing disk image is too big. Instead
  60.     only the first 901120 bytes will be saved to the floppy.
  61.  
  62.   - FF now inhibits the floppy drive before reading or writing to it. This
  63.     ensures that all applications running cannot use the drive while FF is
  64.     working with it.
  65.  
  66.   - When canceling a "Delete All" operation, a requester is not displayed
  67.     stating that nothing was deleted, instead user is notified via status
  68.     string. This makes life less annoying.
  69.  
  70.   - Improved stack checking. FF now changes it's stack size to 16KB
  71.     internally if it's allocated stack size is less than 16KB. If the
  72.     allocated stack size if greater than 16KB, then the stack is not
  73.     affected.

  75.   - FF will now alert the user if it already running. A requster will be
  76.     displayed asking the user if they want to start another copy.
  77.  
  78.   - FF will rescan the disk image drawer when it has been changed. This
  79.     can be useful if another program is such as Dopus is copying disk
  80.     images into it. Note: This does not work with all filing systems, if
  81.     this is the case then FF will function normally but it will not see
  82.     the changes being made by the external program.

  84.   - The source code has now been split into smaller modules.

  86.   - Extended the height of the main image listview.

  88.   - Many miscellaneous small fixes and changes.
